Men's Vintage 1970s Brushed
Cotton Denim Look Shirt Jacket
These rare shirt jackets from the 70s were meant to hit at the waist.
Once again, this is a piece with
a very sizeable collar that doesn't look quite as large in the photo as it
The fabric is an 100% soft cotton that is meant to look like denim.
It has white contrasting copper colored stitching that stands out a bit in person.
It has metal buttons and side accents at the waist.
It measures 44" around at the armpit or chest level. It would likely best fit a size 40 or 42 if worn open.
The length from the middle of the top shoulder seem down to the waist is 22".
The chest does measure 46" around, but I can tell that it would better fit a size 42 chest.
The sleeve length is approximately 33.5".
During the 70s men often had their shirt sleeves stick out at the end of the sleeve for contrast.
The shirt jac has been laundered and is in excellent condition.
It is sturdy, not costume. A rare 40 year old vintage piece.
I think Snoop Dog's character in the movie, Starsky and Hutch, wore an outfit including one of these.
