FANTASTIC
1960s/1970s reproduction disco shirt? I NEVER find an original
fringed disco shirt, so to find this
WONDERFULLY
FLASHY repro is quite a
find! The FLY
COLLAR
on this is an EXTRA BONUS. The fringe runs along the chest area and down
the arms. The shirts say they are made of rayon, but hand wash like a
lightweight polyester, which I believe they are most likely made of as they did
not shrink AT ALL. The shirts have a lace up front and easily
pullover. They are quite roomy and seem to run large.

These shirts are best for wearing
to a theme party not for frequent or active wear by a performer for instance
since cleaning these is tricky. To keep the fringe from becoming tangled
or destroyed I usually just hang the shirt in the shower and spray it with a
soap/water mixture and rinse by spraying with water from the shower hose
attachment and hang dry. Dry cleaning is probably an option as well.
