Super-fly 70s Feathered Hat

This is one of the MOST IMPRESSIVE VINTAGE 1970s hats I have EVER SEEN in my 20 plus years of collecting vintage attire. As SPECTACULAR as it is, I doubt it was ever worn as it is SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. The interior appears to be made of a firm felt. The underbrim and entire exterior are covered by a Spectacular Spray of Feathers in EVERY COLOR IMAGINABLE. The feathers are arranged in a rainbow-like layering of color. One section consists of striped brown and cream feathers which blend into black edged copper feathers, leading to blue and brown feathers, eventually leading to tan feathers with black tips. There is a sprinkling of orange, red and chartreuse feathers as well. A removable cream and taupe quill shoots out from one side adding more flair than the law should allow .

accessories book I am compiling, but it should also be featured on the head of a DARING FASHION DIVA! Alas, I cannot wear it
at all....The hat is a bit too large for me, so I believe it is an average woman's
size. The inside circumference measures 21 1/3". This SPECTACULAR
and UNIQUE hat is BEAUTIFULLY
ORNATE and would be very expensive to reproduce today. A
reproduction would likely cost ca $160 - $240 if one would even make one.
This one is A STEAL at $64.00. This is what
that little plastic card is for. This hat is a MUST
for a serious hat collector as it is most likely ONE OF A
KIND, much like your favorite fashion diva.
