Wedge Swing Shoes
These little darlings are authentic
1950's red wedge shoes. I acquired them with a load of never worn vintage
women's shoes. I wore these one time myself, but as I do not like red,
decided to sell them after all. So they have been worn one time in 50
years. They are in great condition. The blood red leather is soft
and pliable. The shoes have completely
smooth hard leather bottoms which make them great for
spinning.
These original vintage shoes indicate that they are a size 6, although they
would probably fit a size 5 .5 - 6 or a wide 5 1/2 the best.
The
once worn
shoes are nine inches in length, the innersole that is. They are going to
best fit a foot that is 8 3/4" in length. The insides are lined with
faille. The shoes are a comfortable height with the heels being only a
hair over 2" at their highest point. The shoes are perfect for
1950's peddle pushers or casual sundresses.
